Project Overview:
Lifting Gear Hire needed a new open-face spray booth as it moved to a new location in Lakeland. Southern Booth & Equipment installed a Kayco booth and coordinated the drawings, permitting, and supporting building work required for the installation.
Scope of Work:
SBE installed the booth, supplied project architectural drawings, and handled permitting. The team coordinated with the customer's electrician and roofer, a structural contractor for roof steel, and a fire-protection contractor for a booth-specific dry chemical fire-suppression system.
The Challenge:
The installation required more than booth assembly. Roof structural steel, roof sealing, wind ties, electrical work, and fire suppression needed to be coordinated with the equipment installation at the new location.
The Solution:
SBE coordinated the booth installation with the customer's contractors and the structural and fire-protection partners. The fire-suppression system was engineered specifically for the booth, while roof steel, sealing, and wind ties were addressed through the supporting trades.
Results / Outcome:
LGH received a new open-face spray booth at its Lakeland location, with the installation coordinated alongside the required roof, electrical, and fire-protection work. The project established a dedicated spray-finishing area at the new site.
Equipment / Systems Installed:
One Kayco open-face spray booth and a booth-specific engineered dry chemical fire-suppression system installed by the fire-protection contractor. Supporting trade work included roof structural steel, roof sealing, wind ties, and electrical connections.
