Project Overview:
Extreme Paint was establishing a new paint facility in Stuart and needed equipment for preparation, painting, paint mixing, and compressed air. Southern Booth & Equipment supplied and installed a USI refinishing setup, including a custom booth with high-capacity floor grating for heavier vehicles such as lifted, custom trucks.
Scope of Work:
SBE supplied and installed a USI preparation station, a downdraft spray booth, an attached paint mix room, and two NXB15 Ultrapack rotary screw air compressors. The team also installed the customer-supplied 40 mm compressed air piping system.
The Challenge:
The new operation needed equipment for multiple stages of vehicle refinishing and a booth floor configuration suited to heavier, customized vehicles.
The Solution:
SBE installed a USI Chronotech downdraft spray booth with custom high-capacity grating, an attached paint mix room, and a USI semi-downdraft preparation station. Two rotary screw compressors and the compressed air piping system supported the facility's air requirements.
Results / Outcome:
The installation established Extreme Paint's first paint facility and brought preparation, refinishing, and paint mixing into the new operation. The equipment was configured to accommodate specialized work, including heavier lifted and custom trucks.
